A seasonal and topical painting, this one pays tribute to the lengthy period of challenging weather that we have been experiencing here. Storms and more storms… Being woken suddenly by thunder so close it might as well be in your sleeping space. Torrents of water running down the streets, down the beams and into light sockets, landslides, parts of roads disappearing into sudden gaps in the landscape. Water oozing through floors….
And now we have had a few days of sun and blue skies, winter rain seems a distant memory… until next week probably.
