A new version of an old favourite…

Many will probably remember my first watercolour of the Caldas de Monchique, back in 2010. This has remained a popular subject for my paintings, and I felt moved to make a new version of this scene.

I never tire of making paintings of the Caldas de Monchique, its combination of steep hillsides, interesting buildings and traditional cottages, along with plenty of vegetation is a winner for me.
