A new painting, or two…

Here is my latest finished work, an abstract based on my drawing of the stream at Peso, during the summer. I decided to use oil paint for this, since it was then summer and drying times quicker. Acrylic is more versatile than watercolour in my opinion, and both mediums have their virtues. I find it easier to create effects with watercolour using the water to do the work.
