Here is my latest finished work, an abstract based on my drawing of the stream at Peso, during the summer. I decided to use oil paint for this, since it was then summer and drying times quicker. I’ve been doing more watercolour paintings recently, though I haven’t retired from acrylic painting altogether. Acrylic is more versatile than watercolour in my opinion, and both mediums have their virtues. I find it easier to create effects with watercolour using the water to do the work.
