New Year, new painting…
I hope you had a good seasonal break and are in good form for the coming year.
I have been at home since my last blog, which is great because I have had the chance to do another painting. It was from my sketch of the Caldas, made at the beginning of December. I don’t see it as a painting of the Caldas, more a painting about my experience of the place. As you might know, I have made quite a few paintings of the Caldas over the years and it is a place I never tire of using as material for my paintings.
If you know the Caldas, you may understand why.
Here is the sketch I made at the Caldas, the view is from the bridge on the main road.
