Finishing paintings

I’ve been back and forth to the UK in October, November and December (coming up..).
So, not a lot of time to get immersed in work, leaving several unfinished paintings languishing on the studio floor. Along with being without internet, due to loggers severing cables and uprooting telegraph poles, progress has been slow. The internet has just been restored (hooray!) so I’m able to share with you my latest offerings.

Casa Alentejo, Lisbon, acrylic on canvas, 60 x 60cm €550 (reserved)A

For this painting commission (below), the client wanted an acrylic painting on canvas to mimic the effect of watercolour on paper, as in the first version of this. It was a new challenge, now completed, and we’re pleased with the result. I may try this again in future!
