Hello everyone!
I´ve just finished working on a painting which features a sunset… an unusual thing for me, and maybe a first. This is a view which I enjoy every trip returning from Monchique, and even better when the sun is setting on a clear day. The position of the sun setting varies depending on the time of year, and in this case I have put the sunset where the winding road meets the horizon. As I´m in motion while travelling this road, the scene is not entirely photographically accurate, rather an impression of my journey along this winding road heading home, and into the sunset.
I am involved in two exhibitions this month, the first is Arte Expo Algarve at Portimao Arena. I will be joining 5 other members of the Algarve Artists Network on Stands 51 and 52.
Opening times for the event are:
Friday 22 and Saturday 23rd 11am – 9pm
Sunday 24th 11am – 8pm
