After my exhibition at the Galeria do Santo Antonio in Monchique which surpassed my expectations all round, my paintings, minus those already sold, are back home in their studio gallery in Chilrao.
Yesterday I spent the day rehanging a selection of the paintings shown at the Galeria at my gallery at home, and they are now ready to receive visitors!

This was a panoramic photo which seems to be static now…
Paintings recently sold from the exhibition

And a new painting …
Another from the theme from my locality, the path to the water. This is where the water from Foia arrives via its ad hoc piping arrangements which flow into a junction where it splits into different pipes to serve the various inhabitants of Chilrao. When the water is flowing slowly or we find there is none, this is the first place to check if there is any coming in from the mountain.
I wanted to use this particular set of colours and decided to use water based oil paint due to the quality of luminosity which oil paint possesses.

I hope you like it!
